Thanks to medical marijuana in Marlton NJ, I’ve managed to make major inroads when treating my peripheral neuropathy. I was an alcoholic in my earlier years, which as any serious drinker knows can play havoc on your nervous system, only to dry out later in life about a year before I was diagnosed with diabetes. Did the drinking play a role in this diagnoses? I don’t think so, I think it’s largely bad luck, but regardless one of the problems with the diabetes was the neuropathy I developed. It’s peripheral which means I’ve got it in my arms and legs.
It’s an awful condition. In many ways it’s worse than having to watch what I eat for the diabetes. Trying to sleep is the worst because you’re lying in bed just feeling that tingling and numbness in your extremities. It got to the point where I was seriously considering going back on the sauce just so I could pass out in bed at the end of the day and not feel those infernal sensations in my arms and legs. Even worse is that you’ve got to constantly pay attention to your feet in order to notice any wounds because they’ll get infected in a jiffy and you won’t feel it.
Nothing else worked with this condition until I was able to get a prescription for medical marijuana. It only took a few puffs of weed and suddenly I just didn’t care about the neuropathy anymore. I could still feel it, but at a greatly reduced level and it didn’t seem to have an effect on my life anymore. It goes without saying that a few puffs before bedtime and I am out like a light. I’m so happy to have access to this substance because my life is greatly improved because of it.
